The students at Hines middle school finished a color unit of study. During that unit, students learned about color theory which includes the color wheel, color value, and color schemes. The students also learned how to create various tints, shades and tones by creating a mono chromatic color value scale. At the end of the unit, students were asked to create a complementary name poster. The poster was their final product and a way to demonstrate their understanding regarding color schemes.
