Brian Dove is a digital media artist, raised in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, currently working in video, music and interactive media. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Kinetic Imaging from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2013. Brian currently lives and works on a farm in Corbett, Oregon. When he is not farming, Brian is writing and recording music for his project Antiphons, or designing and building small art-games. To view Brian’s digital portfolio visit his website here.

Brian will be presenting a school wide interactive demo at Open Middle this upcoming Wednesday February 4th on the Leap Motion Controller. The Leap Motion is a motion sensor device, much like a mouse, that allows for hands free control of a computer. Students and teachers will get a chance to try out a variety of educational games using the Leap Motion such as Cyber Science and Solar Walk.
