Howdy! Grants team here. We are excited to extend an invitation to additional teams to participate in the Learning Community Summer Rendezvous featuring storytelling. Storytelling can be a powerful communication tool when done well. Stories can help us connect with others, define our identity, and mold one’s point-of-view. OCF is offering a special opportunity this summer for additional teachers, teaching artists, and school administrators to attend a storytelling workshop provided by the Goodman Center and specially tailored for arts education. The workshop will take place on August 2nd & 3rd in conjunction with the Studio to School Learning Community summer Rendezvous at The Oregon Gardens in Silverton, Oregon. We are looking for geographies, cultures, and other perspectives that may not be currently represented in the current cohort.

Please forward the RFP to K-8 teachers, school administrators, and non-profit arts education providers that you think might have an interest in growing or strengthening their arts education offerings. Letters of interest are due May 31st. OCF will cover travel expenses, lodging, and give a $1,000 grant to 9-12 teams for this opportunity.
